This morning I was in my usual routine. When I got out of the shower I went to the closet to get my robe and I heard a BANG, BANG, BANG at my door. I was thinking, who in the world is coming to see me this early on a Wednesday morning?!? I went to peak out the window, and saw a black Four Runner with a Carolina license plate. I ran downstairs and opened the door as fast as I could. The smile I saw was priceless…it was my brother, Zack. He has been in Iraq since the beginning of December. We knew he was coming home sometime within the week, but I had no idea I would see him this morning. Oh what a wonderful way to start your day!! We visited for a bit and then he was on to surprise Mom and Dad. Even though he is now a BIG Army Ranger, there is still that little boy deep down inside that loves to surprise us. I thank God today for bringing him back to us safely, once again. We truly serve an awesome God!!!
