Count Down and The List

The count down has started in a BIG way. I can’t believe that in 25 days we will be Mr. & Mrs. I am traveling this week for the last time before the wedding and it has actually been a great thing. I get lots accomplished when I am in a hotel room at night. Also, I am in one of my favorite places, Knoxville, TN. I accomplished a lot yesterday and today.

-I got the bags for our favors. I decided to do triple berry muffins from my favorite place to eat in the K, The Peach House, and Alex wrote a precious poem to go with each favor.
-I got the book for the all our guest to sign.
-I have a pile of thank you notes to mail in the morning.
-All the bridesmaid gifts are being monogrammed and they should be ready when I get home.
-I worked on my new Beth Moore Bible Study “Psalms of Ascent”. God never ceases to give me day by day just what I need to hear.

I would say that I am checking things off of the list each day. My precious Mom is being ultra patient with me when I call with things that need to be done. Thanks Mom! This past weekend Ms. Gail and Heather hosted a “Lingerie Get Away” at my Ms. Gail’s house at the beach. It was wonderful. On Saturday we headed back home for my bridal portraits. We had lots of fun taking them in Snow Hill. I walked all over the town with the girls holding my dress. It was easier than getting in the car. :) Julie Mixon took my pictures for my portrait and I can’t wait to see the proofs. God has really blessed her with such an eye for great, creative photography. You should visit her website www.jsmixonphoto.com. Stay tuned for pics from the beach!

I am still searching for songs for the wedding if you have any ideas please share.

  1. Its getting close! Julie also shot a friend of mine's wedding last August. She does great work! What kind of songs are you looking for (like the classical music you have to have or songs to be sung)? I'll try to help you out!

  2. Hey There,

I am looking for songs to be sung. Allen O'Neal is going to sing and Bryan's cousin Emily is singing as well. I would love to hear your suggestions.
