It is almost here...

Matthew, Mary Beth and Bailey gave Bryan a "Tool Shower" on Saturday. It was a lot of fun and Bryan got some good tools. Thank you Ingram family!
Dowdy and Bailey love each other!

I love the bucket with the drinks. It was so cute with the tool theme.

Last Saturday Ms. Nancy, Mr. Joe, Ms. Maudith, Mr. Tommy and Ms. Sandra gave us a "Couple Showers". It was so much fun. We had a wonderful meal and the weather was perfect. Thank you so much guys for a great time.

I love the cross.

Sandra and Jessica-thank you so much for this gift. It is all my money. :) Just kidding B.

It is so hard to believe that next week this time I will be a married woman. I think we are almost ready. I feel like have done a lot to prepare, but it seems that there is still a lot to do. I just want to enjoy this week ahead. I do have some praise reports that I have been wanting to share. God has been so good over the past few weeks and I can't praise him enough.

-My house and Bryan's house rented!!

-We closed on our new house in Wilson.

-Ms. Lillie (Bryan's mom) had her first treatment and everything went well.

-My brother and his wife were in an accident on Friday. Their 4Runner flipped 3 times and they both walked away from the accident.

-We have been praying for God to open up the door for Jennifer's husband, Randy, to get a job and he did!

I praise him today and I look forward to his new mercies tomorrow. If you have any advice on how to keep my stress level low this week please share. :)

Spring is in the Air!

I love this time of year when the days start getting longer, the flowers are in full bloom and we celebrate the He is ALIVE!! This weekend has been a wonderful spring weekend. On Friday after work Stacey dressed Connor in his Easter best and we had a little photo session. Then we celebrated Josiah’s 11th birthday that night. On Saturday my Mom and my Dad’s family threw us a Lawn and Garden shower. It was really nice and we got so many great things! Zack and Alex came home this weekend and on Saturday afternoon after the shower I got to spend sometime with Zack. We went running together in Snow Hill and Daddy rode his bike to “Coach Us Along”. On Saturday night we went to Wilson to eat with Ms. Lillie and it was yummy as always. Then today we went to church and Mama and Terry came over for spaghetti and a lazy afternoon. Bryan and I had a really good weekend spending time with our families. I hope you enjoyed your Easter weekend as well!

Connor kissing the bunny! Stace how many times did you say that?

Look at this wreath that Ms. Shelia made for us. I love the "Pirate colors" and the "R".

Aunt Angie, EBL, Aunt Rhonda

Uncle Horace gave me a hoe that belonged to my Grandma and Grandaddy. It was so special!

I am ready to be a true Southern Belle and hit the garden with my hat.

Count Down and The List

The count down has started in a BIG way. I can’t believe that in 25 days we will be Mr. & Mrs. I am traveling this week for the last time before the wedding and it has actually been a great thing. I get lots accomplished when I am in a hotel room at night. Also, I am in one of my favorite places, Knoxville, TN. I accomplished a lot yesterday and today.

-I got the bags for our favors. I decided to do triple berry muffins from my favorite place to eat in the K, The Peach House, and Alex wrote a precious poem to go with each favor.
-I got the book for the all our guest to sign.
-I have a pile of thank you notes to mail in the morning.
-All the bridesmaid gifts are being monogrammed and they should be ready when I get home.
-I worked on my new Beth Moore Bible Study “Psalms of Ascent”. God never ceases to give me day by day just what I need to hear.

I would say that I am checking things off of the list each day. My precious Mom is being ultra patient with me when I call with things that need to be done. Thanks Mom! This past weekend Ms. Gail and Heather hosted a “Lingerie Get Away” at my Ms. Gail’s house at the beach. It was wonderful. On Saturday we headed back home for my bridal portraits. We had lots of fun taking them in Snow Hill. I walked all over the town with the girls holding my dress. It was easier than getting in the car. :) Julie Mixon took my pictures for my portrait and I can’t wait to see the proofs. God has really blessed her with such an eye for great, creative photography. You should visit her website www.jsmixonphoto.com. Stay tuned for pics from the beach!

I am still searching for songs for the wedding if you have any ideas please share.
